But, pay attention. Calisthenic nutrition is not all about food. Getting enough to drink is also a key part of your health and fitness success. Adequate hydration is very important in your every day life, let alone throughout the powerful calisthenic workouts.

The funny thing about proper hydration is that everyone is indicating us what to drink instead of what not to. Therefore, I will mention 4 of the absolute worst possible things that you can drink: alcohol, diet drinks, coffee and non-organic milk.

Alcohol. Excessive alcohol promotes dehydration and depletes your B vitamins and magnesium, which are vital for progesterone. The individuals who drink excessively in the long run develop cirrhosis of the liver. Conclusion: alcohol is bad. Limit it as much as possible.

Diet and Sport Drinks. These extremely advertised drinks contain a huge quantity of artificial sweeteners that promote your body’s urges for real sugar. Dairy cows are pumped full of artificial growth hormones, steroids and antibiotics, which accumulate in the milk you drink. It is scientifically confirmed that these risky chemical substances will dramatically influence all your metabolic process. Organic milk is different. It is higher in omega 3 fatty acids. It is also much higher in vitamins and anti-oxidants than non-organic milk. I am certain plenty of people will say that cow’s milk is allergenic and this is true. The answer is to replace it with goat milk or vegetable milk (soy, oat or rice).

We may also add to the list of nastiest drinks the frozen mocha and hot chocolate, fruit juices from concentrate, soft drinks, ice cream sodas, frozen fruit drinks and drive-thru shakes.

Although viewed as bad beverages, all of these drinks can be consumed in moderation without having a significant influence on your calisthenic workouts or your health.
